Winter Park Resort in the Colorado Rockies is the place to go on your family ski vacation this year. With world class skiing, great restaurants and the most and consistent snowfall of all of Colorado’s destination resorts. Just a short drive from Denver International Airport over Berthoud Pass sits Colorado’s favorite ski resort, Winter Park. Come on up and let’s make memories that will last a lifetime.

Lets start with the new Village that is in its first full ski season at the resort. The Village has a ice skating pond that is complete with its own miniature Zamboni. A few steps away there is the Belgium beer cafe The Cheeky Monk and few more steps there is the modern Mexican of Lime. For breakfast there is the creperie Gooddy’s.

It is only a 1.5 hour drive from Denver to the Winterpark Resort and you do not have to deal with the Eisenhower Tunnel. Snowfall at the Resort averages around 350 inches per year. This year is going to be an El Nino year so look out for lots of snow early and late.

Pricing at Winterpark is roughly one third cheaper as that at the other destination resorts in Colorado. From lodging, restaurants, lift tickets and lift tickets prices are less here than those resorts on the I-70 corridor. Come and spend your winter ski vacation at Winter Park Resort and you will have the memories and not all the hassles.

The locals are friendly and there is no rush as with other Colorado resorts.
