In todays video I show some tricks and tips I’ve learned vinyl wrapping my own car. I am currently working on a budget vinyl wrap for my Nissan GT-R, and I’m putting a lot of effort into it for a good quality job. The heat gun is making it go very well especially around the tight corners. Knife cutting is tricky and you need to be careful that you don’t cut all the way through to your paint. I am 99% sure I’m doing it ok. If I ruined the cars paint with scratch marks, I’ll be sure to make a video..

For the most part my first knife pass doesn’t even cut the first layer of vinyl. Knifeless tape is a tedious item to use, but really does a great job for safe precise cuts.

Hopefully you learn some good tricks so you can wrap your own car in the garage!!
