Candidates, who have applied for the Clerk posts through the advertisement Advt. 5/2019, can download their admit card from today onward.
The HSSC Clerk Admit Card/ Hall Ticket (Advt. 5/2019) can be downloaded from the official website – http://hssc.gov.in/ – through candidate login using his/her credentials.
The HSSC Clerk written exam will be conducted from September 21, 2019 to September 23, 2019.
The HSSC had on June 20, 2019 released a notification inviting applications for the Clerk recruitment in various departments across the state.
There are around 4835 vacancies are to be filled through the examination in various department and corporations.
The HSSC Notice, announcing the exam dates reads: It is notified for the information of all concerned that the Haryana Staff Selection Commission has fixed the written examination ‘Optical Marks Recognition Sheets Based (OMR Based) for the post of Clerk, against Advt. No 5/2019, Cat. No. 01 of various Departments/Boards/Corporations of Haryana to be held on dated 21.09.2019 (Saturday) from 04:30 P.M to 06:00 P.M (only evening session), 22.09.2019 (Sunday) from 10:30 A.M to 12:00Noon (Morning Session) and 03:00 P.M. to 04:30 P.M. (Evening Session) and 23.09.2019 (Monday) from 10:30 A.M to 12:00 Noon (Morning Session) and 03:00 P.M. to 04;30 P.M. (Evening Session) at various districts.

Criteria for Selection, Examination & Syllabus
The scheme of marks in respect of selection to the posts shall comprise of total 100 marks, as detailed below:

1) The 90 marks of written examination shall be divided into to parts comprising:-
a) 75% weightage for General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, Computer, English, Hindi and concerned or relevant subject, as applicable.
b) 25% weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. of Haryana
2) The 10 marks for socio-economic criteria and experience shall be allocated as follows:
a) if neither the applicant nor any person from among the applicant’s family viz father, mother, spouse, brother, and Son is, was or has been a regular employee in any Department/Board/Corporation/Company/Statutory Body/Commission/Authority of Government of Haryana or any other State Government or Government of India. (5 marks)
b) if the applicant is:-
(i) a widow; or
(ii) the first or the second child and his father had died before attaining the age of 42 years: or
(iii) the first or the second child and his father had died before the applicant had attained the age of 15 years,”. (5 marks)
c) If the applicant belongs to such a denotified tribe (Vimukt Jatis and Tapriwas Jatis) or Nomadic tribe of the State of Haryana which is neither a Scheduled Caste nor a Backward Class. (5 marks)
One-half (=0.5) mark for each year or part thereof exceeding six month of experience, out of a maximum of sixteen years, on the same or a higher post in any Department/Board/Corporation/Company/Statutory Body/Commission/Authority of Government of Haryana. No marks shall be awarded for any period less than six months. (A maximum of 8 marks)
Note:- No applicant shall be given more than 10 marks for socio economic criteria and experience under any circumstances.
Scrutiny of Documents
Only those documents which are uploaded by the candidates shall be considered. If there is any variation in the document uploaded and produced at the time of scrutiny candidature shall be liable to be cancelled. If any application is found without uploading requisite supporting documents and other relevant information, the candidate himself/herself shall be responsible for that and his/her candidature would be liable to be cancelled due to lack of proper or correct documents/information.
