NAVI MUMBAI: At least five people were killed and three others sustained burn injuries after a massive fire broke out in stormwater drainage at ONGC’s gas processing facility in Navi Mumbai’s Uran on Tuesday at around 7am.
The injured workers have been admitted to Uran rural hospital.
The state-run company said that the fire was successfully doused within two hours by the firefighting team.

Fire tenders from ONGC, Dronagiri, JNPT, Panvel and Nerul were engaged in the firefighting operation. The Uran police have cordoned off the area at a distance of 2km.
