While it borrows a lot of systems from Final Fantasy XV proper, the Comrades multiplayer DLC expansion for FF15 also has many all-new systems of its own. Chief among these is the weapon remodeling system, something covered in our detailed weapon guide for Comrades.

Part of the process involves feeding items and other loot from your battles to weapons in order to upgrade them. Different items have different bonuses – and it can be hard to know what’s best for your weapons.

We’ve crunched the numbers, and here on this page we present our top ten FF15 Comrades items of loot for improving weapon stats in Strength, Vitality, Magic and Spirit – plus improving their magic resistance stats. Let’s do it!

Raising Base Weapon Stats through Remodeling – Strength, Vitality, Magic and Spirit

The key when you’re improving weapons in Final Fantasy XV Comrades is to ensure that you instill as much improvements into their various statistics without maxing out the weapon’s maximum level, as detailed in our FF15 Comrades Weapon Guide.

The less EXP an item grants the more of them  you can feed to improve their skill stats – in some instances, weaker items are better. Here we go into detail about our top ten items for improving each of the stats in FF15 Comrades. Use it in tandem with our Weapon Guide and Weapon Skills Guide to create the best possible weapons for you.

Elemental Resistance Points – the best items for raising resistance
