2017 Nissan GTR It’s More than Just Muscle! Rather than being designed to the demands of aerodynamics, the GT-R sculpts the air to its needs – becoming a force of nature as much as a force to be reckoned with.

New features for 2017
Once again the 2017 GT-R raises the bar for ultimate performance. Inside, the GT-R takes a giant step forward with a new design that reduces driver workload, while stepping up to a new level of premium with hand-selected and handcrafted materials. Add in greater power, and a suspension retuned to provide a more supple ride while enhancing handling, and Legendary Exhilaration has never looked better.

REDESIGNED REAR FASCIA
The GT-R’s rear fascia has been extended at the sides to accelerate air away from the back of the bumper, helping to pull hot gases away, to cool the exhaust.

RESHAPED SIDE SKIRTS AND C-PILLAR
Redesigning the GT-R’s side skirts helps prevent air flow from being drawn underneath the vehicle. The area around the C-Pillar has been refined to reduce turbulence, and to help accelerate air flow toward the rear of the body.

RE-IMAGINED FRONT END
Larger grille openings allow more cooling air to key components. Reshaping the front fascia helps direct air around the front wheel wells, reducing drag.

HANDCRAFTED
From start to finish, each GT-R engine is handcrafted by its own master engine-builder in a climate-controlled “clean room.” Each twin-turbo V6 is precisely assembled from lightweight, highly durable aluminum and magnesium parts. It takes the exacting standards of the planet’s most talented and devoted engine builders to produce the engine that has redefined what a supercar can be.

PASSIONATELY INSPECTED
Fanatical attention to detail. On GT-R’s finished in Super Silver, a craftsman uses both hands and eyes to inspect the body of the GT-R. To bring out any imperfections, three different lighting sources – fluorescent, halogen and diluted flood lighting – are used to see various types of qualities in the paint as if it were at night, daylight or simply under intense scrutiny.
